Workshops and Classes
We offer many classes and workshops throughout the year related to blacksmithing and knifemaking. We also host open forges on a biweekly basis. Check our calendar below to see all of our upcoming events.
Join us on our open forge nights every other Wednesday from 5 pm – 8:30 pm. Most participants come in to use equipment normally unavailable to them. There’s always a lot going on. It’s $20 to particpate or just stop in to see what’s happening!

3 Day Damascus Workshop
When: Nov 24-26
This class will be focused on making Damascus, the basics and then delving into varying patterns. We will explore the common patterns as well as some mosaic patterns and how to apply them. Each student should come away with 2-3 finished billets that you can further refine on your own. You will learn how to prepare the material, several different patterns, the basics of grinding, etching the Damascus, and finishing.
