Learn Fold Forming & Patina from Pat Downing!

Pat is one of the few experts in these techniques! First, he will teach fold forming, a process of transforming flat sheets of metal into three-dimensional sculpture, and then how to use both grown and commercial patinas and combinations of patinas to create spectacular finishes on these fold-formed pieces.

Learn about patination techniques on copper, brass, & steel, using sculpt nouveau products. We will use power hammers/press and possibly the rolling mill to fold form & texture the materials prior to the patina application.

All materials will be provided. Bring your hand tools and safety equipment!  *PPE is permitted but not provided.

The price of the class is $675. You can either pay the full amount at the time you sign up or put half down to hold your spot. The balance will be due upon arriving at the workshop. If we do not receive enough registrations with deposit 30 days prior to the date of the class, we reserve the right to cancel the class with a full refund. Cancellation with a 100% refund can be done up to 30 days prior to the class. Cancellation within 2-4 weeks before the class will receive a 50% refund. Cancellation less than 14 days prior to class is non-refundable and funds are non-transferable. *Please note: payments made via PayPal will include a 5% charge to issue a refund.
