Wasabi Cups + Chopsticks Workshop

Description

This is a two-part class, held on Thursdays from 5:30PM – 9PM. Part 1: October 24, 2019, Part 2: November 14, 2019.

In this class, you will create and take home two chopsticks and one wasabi bowl!

Chopsticks: We will forge a Japanese style of chopsticks from titanium bar stock, a bit of finish work, and patina.

Wasabi Bowl: We will incorporate traditional raising techniques to raise a vessel over a variety of stakes from a sheet of copper. After raising we will patina and seal the vessel.

All materials will be provided.
