Blacksmithing 100 Workshop (May 7)

Description

This class will be held on May 7, 2022 from 7AM to 3PM. 

We will start with some basic forging skills; tapering, bending, twisting. Then after some practice we will go into a few projects such as a key ring, cheese slicer, and/or steak turner. Around lunch time we will start our first forged tool – a hot cut chisel – we will forge from tool steel and sharpen without power tools. You should leave 2-5 completed projects!

All materials and tools will be provided. Please bring safety glasses and work gloves if you have them. Closed toed shoes are required. Wear cotton clothing – nothing flammable!

The price of the class is $285. If we do not receive enough registrations with deposit 30 days prior to the date of the class, we reserve the right to cancel the class with a full refund. Cancellation with a 100% refund can be done up to 30 days prior to the class. Cancellation within 2-4 weeks before the class will receive a 50% refund. Cancellation less than 14 days prior to class is non-refundable. *PLEASE NOTE: If you opt to use PayPal as your method of payment, there will be a 5% charge to issue a refund.
