Description
This class will be held on October 29, 2022 from 7AM to 5PM with 1 hour break for Lunch.
with Master Smith Mark Aspery
Mark is a world-renowned blacksmith, author, and educator.
His YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/user/MarkAspery) includes a TON of videos teaching technique.
We will start the day off with a demonstration on how to hand-forge a set of tongs.
Then, with the guidance of the instructor, you will be able to forge your own set of tongs!
DRINK WATER THE NIGHT BEFORE AND DURING CLASS,
HYDRATION IS VERY IMPORTANT!
All materials and tools will be provided.
*Safety glasses and closed toed shoes are required.
Bring work gloves and an apron if you have them, make sure to bring a water bottle.
Cotton clothing preferred – nothing flammable!
NO SYNTHETIC CLOTHING.
